It's not Ohio, it's a city called OMAHA, NE. Great show, totally addicting. Humorous, but I must say, as a resident of Omaha, NE; this is not the entire city. Just Landmark properties. Everyone that rents, owns, or sublets, should strive to not live like some of the people on the show. I'm with Dave, open your heart and enjoy the good that can come with life. Sometimes you're right and sometimes you're proved wrong. It's okay. My father owns property in the city as well, and just loves watching this show. I think he sees Dave as a sort of role model. Dave: your messages show up all around town on your Dino's Storage facilities. Keep up the heart filled good work!

Although I wasn't a fan of this show, I still believe and know that everyone matters and you don't have to be anyone special to matter. "treyganrussel" is pretty much no worse than what some people refer as a terrible person. Simply because they love the fact that a person, including whoever else was on that plane Dave Paladino was on, died. Think about what you type out in the world before you type it, Trey. Being human for anyone is tough enough as it is no matter what they have, how much they make and what they believe in. You're no worse than I and anyone else, including Paladino. Your comment pretty much proves it. People who type/say things like you do without any conscience drive me nuts, especially when they find some modern and illogical remark to justify it. Find a heart, let go of your pride and humble yourself for the sake of no one.

I think Dave is the best, he tries so hard to help. These two, Rachael and her idiot boyfriend( who, BTW could have got them put out for being there as long as he was without being on the lease) are two of they dumbest people ever. They couldn't see help if it punched them in the face and said hi, I'm help. That girl is a social worker? Rachael, see you next Tuesday! Boyfriend, Dave would have stomped a mud hole in your ass. Great work Dave. You have made me appreciate my landlord more than I already do. If the majority of these people would just stay calm and listen to Dave, and not get all worked up and talk tough it would go so much easier.

It's a reality show that follows around this well-meaning nerd who has a big heart but also sticks to his principles and morals firmly. He is a superintendent to like hundreds of apartments that are just in the slummiest parts of Ohio (i think) He has to deal with bums, drug-addicts, liars, thieves, etc. day to day, but whilst dealing with them he also gives them the benefit of the doubt and does his best to make accommodations for them but he usually winds up getting taken advantage of.

The show was on HDNET which is now AXS.TV, and like other HDNET produced shows, it has a slightly low-budget/ high school production sort of charm and feel.

I am pretty sure the show was not scripted and it showed, but it was extremely fun and entertaining. The promos had the best sound-bytes and clips and I really think this show was not only special as far as this type of show goes, but was also a guilty pleasure.

I am hoping they do another season.
