Kiss of the Con Queen

Even though I knew the story of Kiss of the Con Queen, so knew the outcome, it was thoroughly engaging from the opening scenes to the ending, and it even kept some surprises. The film was also nicely textured. The actors were excellent and it unfolded methodically and seamlessly.

I especially thought that the scene where the Con Queen reveals that he's doing multiple scams with multiple personae was very effective.

I would have liked the story to delve more into what makes the protagonist so prone to being scammed so completely. My feeling is that it was more than just his alcohol addiction. I felt there was something else underlying. Nevertheless, this did not reduce the effectiveness of the film -- it just would have added a bit more to the character development.

All in all, a fine film and recommended.

This is a wild ride that will keep you entertained and guessing from beginning to end. It's the best movie I've seen in a long time. It has strong characters, excellent cinematography and the performances are amazing! It is crazy that it is based on a true story and some of the people who made the movie are real life victims.

I did some research about the Con Queen after I saw the movie. My advice is to watch the movie without knowing anything else. It is more of an experience the less you know. I love action movies and Kiss of the Con Queen does an excellent job of sharing the story in a way that will put you right in the middle of the action. This film is the pinnacle of filmmaking and storytelling in my opinion. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say this. You must see this movie!

I remember hearing about the biggest scam in Hollywood, and how this con artist was impersonating Hollywood Executives to get lots of actors in Hollywood and accross the world to give them money, and do all sorts of things. I remember thinking, "Someone is definitely going to make a movie about this!"

Well they have, and I'm really thrilled that I had the opportunity to see it, at the Newport Film Festival. So maybe I'm a little biased because I always thought this would be a great story for a movie, one that would be well recieved by anyone who is interested in anything Hollywood.

Without giving away too much, all I can say is that this movie will not disappoint. It is a MUST SEE for sure! It's so relevant to our time of digital scamming, with a focus on the struggles of artist and the lengths they will go to, in order to create their art. From the production side, it's obvious that this team didn't cut any corners, and delivered a truley entertaining film that will have you thinking about it days after!

This movie was beautifully executed from the beginning to the end. It keeps your attention right from the beginning. You will share all the actors emotions as he takes you through his journey with his true life experience.

A definite MUST SEE especially for those in the 'Hollywood' business.

I was on the edge of my seat and laughed out loud several times during the film. The actor Eoin O'brian was brilliant in taking us on his journey with him throughout the film.

Collaboratively it was an excellent production.

A gripping and emotional roller coaster that leaves you thinking even after the movie.
