Direct to VHS release.
Nari Hira, who owned Stardust film magazine, produced quite a few Hindi films in mid '80s. Most of these were erotic thrillers like Shingora (1986) and Khatarnak Irade (1987). These movies were not meant for theatrical release but directly released on video attaining fair amount of popularity in India as well as Dubai.
Khatarnak Irade was inspired from Ek Nari Do Roop (1973) with some newly added twists and turns. Shatrughan Sinha's role in the original was played by Aditya Panscholi here while Anju Mahendru played his much wedded lover who plants him as a driver in her house and later plots to kill her handicapped husband with his help. Neeta Puri was cast as her sister in law who provides a pivotal twist to the thriller.
With two sexy ladies - Anju and Neeta - in lead, the film offered ample scope for skin show and Aditya even went shirtless on multiple occasions here. His chemistry with Anju was sizzling hot. The rest of the cast was competent enough.
Overall not a bad attempt for a video release, Khatarnak Irade will appear better if you havent seen Ek Nari Do Roop as well as Dev Anand Saahab's Joshila (1973) which was also somewhat similar.
