Season 1 was fun, but season 2 just has my heart...

It feels like the two seasons of Love Class should be listed completely separate. There are underlying themes that are similar in both seasons, for instance, the relationship class some of the characters attend at the college. But where season one was good, season two is absolutely great!

My rating for season one was actually 7/10, but after just completing the second season, I changed my rating to 10/10. I just really loved following along on each of the couples' relationship journeys. And what I absolutely adored the most about the second season, was that there was no forced conflict. The story arcs for each of the couples just felt organically laid out and they built together into this culmination of sweetness.

All of the actors did a great job, they felt sincere to their characters in the story as a whole. I definitely recommend checking out both seasons, but you don't need to watch one to understand the other. And I definitely recommend season two, it's just a light, sweet, and refreshing story to watch.

    I enjoy this series

I am not type of watcher who wants all people to be suddenly gays in the BL series. So, this series is my type. It is not too gay. Side characters are not designed to be gays so suddenly. All characters are put where they belong in terms of the story's setting.

The deliverable of the characters, to me, is believable, and fun to watch. Kim Tae Hwan (Ji Wo) and Han Hyun Jun (RoA) seem to be enjoying their role and I would like to give them more opportunities by seeing how they will develop their interactions, if any, in season 2.

Ji Wo is definitely behind RoA on understanding his sexuality and feeling. And I feel like, it is a normal experience for a person who does not live in a society where LGBT is broadly accepted. RoA and Ji Wo can be a perfect match to see what is next steps in that type of relationship. And I want to know more about Ji Wo.

    Matchmaking Class

The first season was mild and still dealing with general problems that the LGBTQ+ community has to deal with, i.e. Homophobia. So I feel like it was still pure and sweet as a starter. I was just gonna give it 7 stars, but after watching season 2, I added another star. It's much more complex than season 1. Plus, it's giving the audience three couples instead of just one like in the first season. So it's an improvement in both quality and quantity. I felt that it's even sweeter than the first season, like exponentially sweeter. Maybe the producer was just having a warm-up with season 1. And in season 2, they stepped on the gas like crazy. Season 2 is the complete package, there's even some steamy scenes. I think that this is the first Korean BL series that I've ever watched that has explicit sex scenes in it. Usually Korean BL series are so timid, that the kisses are kinda bad. Like, just two guys bumping lips, nothing more. I think season 2 is like, the edgiest Korean BL series ever.
