Filming started in March 2020, a few days before the first COVID-19 lockdown. On March 16, 2020, filming had to be paused due to the lockdown. Filming resumed in January 2021 and lasted five weeks, wrapping up in February 2021.

So predictable, unfortunately.

This French adventure drama is quite good but foreseeable at the most, taking advantage of the migrants problem that Europe, and Italian authorities in particular - has to face. Clichés galore here, with the lead character Menochet decides to help this migrant woman. The settings are awesome and bring something of western element in this film that I will quickly forget. It could have been far better, and the ending too. I think it is too cheesy for my taste, not gloomy enough but the whole movie is not that bad. The only good thing, very unusual, I agree, is that there is no romance between this man and this woman.
