In my 46 years I've been guardian to 16 cats and foster to 6 cats. I've lived with 8 roommates who, with the exception of 3, had no cat Mojo. Cats can exhibit dog-like behaviors, but they're relationship with humans is completely different, but just as much rewarding as a human's relationship with a dog. Some people are more inclined to living with one species over the other, and some people are "bi-petual". I am the latter. Interaction with any domesticated animal is conditional on the energy you bring to the situation, as well as being attuned to the animal's body language. Jackson teaches that lesson with exceptional insight, which comes from years of experience and observation.
