Rodney Cecil: Psycho Hero

Ambitious film with a lot of character and a cool enough cast of characters to play out this action, drama, et al. Film.

Is it low budget and cheap?, yes, but the makers never lose sight of this and have as much fun with the goofy story and characters as possible, but pull back into some semblance of seriousness at times too, moving the story along nicely when it needed to.

I felt the action and storyline always moved along pretty well for a film like this that can get tedious and bogged down if not handled right. There aren't really any lingering scenes and sometimes you wanted to see more of certain scenes or characters and the movie was already going somewhere else.

The comedy and splatter in the film helped a lot, and for the most part was done right since the main audience is probably going to be younger or male.

They even got a few of the gals that had some other significant roles to get topless a couple times.

Some of the end fights and action could have been differently done, but I get they probably wanted to have a slapstick effect to the fighting too.

To some extent you wish the dark/bizarre superhero slant could have been done more too, but all in all I found it pretty enjoyable.
