I think that there were a lot of ethical communication examples throughout the few short clips we watched. I relate more to Solomon specifically because he was being forced to go against his own values and when Nefertiti appeared, she reminded him of his own ethics and values; an important one being family. It can be intimidating and hard to confront and go against what someone else is saying is right, but Solomon decided to quit because he was not going to go against his own ethics and morals.
There are also great examples of code switching and you can see the change in the relationships between the two from the beginning and the end of the movie.

This film is very interesting to me as to how it connects with intercultural communications. Solomon and Tronic obviously had very different cultural and ethical values. In terms of the film, it was great. I feel like the culture of both characters are all seen intertwined in the community now a days and the film does a great job of highlighting the differences amongst both characters. A lot of people can really connect with this film if they watch it fully and analyze the whole meaning as to why everything played out that way that it did. There willl always be differences in the world and that is something we can accept.
This movie was interesting to see how people can act under certain pressures. Solomon communicated with respect at first to show he wanted the job and wanted to please his idol. Once it came out that Tronic was actually a very not moral business man, he was conflicted over making money to help his family and selling out his people. I feel like he could have reported it to the police but ended up just leaving it alone.
When he was visited by a spirit who reminded him of his moral values, he knew the right thing to do and did it.
He code switched and told off the boss as he quit. He did the right thing and didn't do it.

What I got back from the film was that Tronic was "the bad guy" to Solomon. I really didn't understand the whole concept of the purpose of the film. I didn't understand because almost every sene was in a different place and it was also didn't story lines that Tronic and Solomon were talking about. I think that the film could have been more better and not so fake. It seemed fake because I feel like anyone could easily figure out what can happen. I feel like I would see this film in highschool and students would be recording them selfs for a project that they have to do for school. Overall I think the script could have been a little more better.
I think that this was really interesting. There is the character named Mr. Tronic and I think that it is obvious to see his mindset and his character's personality in this show. You can see though that the character wants to be liked by people who are out there and up there in the business worlds. It is true for a lot of people and I think this film does a good job portraying that. I only saw a little bit of this film because it was for my communication course so I cannot write a full review on this film. I will definitely go back and watch the rest of this and then come back and respond and make another review.
