When the show started it had a lot of energy, but as time went on it started to fade. I thought there were too many be people coming in to distract the couples from getting to know each other. I was disappointed with the ending because the audience to choose the couple was definitely not diverse enough and the newbies who barely knew each other won. They didn't have to go through all the challenges or distractions the other couples fought for. This was definitely a biased show I won't watch again unless Mary is a reunion update in the couples comeback to let us know what their status are in their journey is after being on the show.
I don't even know what to say about this mess of a show. Why does network TV continue to process these idiotic unscripted shows? That is why people leave for cable . And why would anyone watch a show with untalented Rebecca Romane and the creepy, slimy Jerry O'Connell. The guy really has strange vibes . I recently heard that the ratings are so poor that the show is being cancelled and moving to Paramount, the home of all the losing shows. I really think reality shows have had their day. I just hope Big Brother, the Bachelor, survivor and the rest of these shows will soon be cancelled. But Love Boat was truly the bottom feeder of reality shows.
Emily and Mike one of the last couples to meet wins over Jordan and Kendra and Daniel and Shae. Emily was with another guy all the way up into the last 2 episodes. She is a horrible person and Mike was so phony. She dumped her guy for Mike the fake. Why bother to have challenges if it's going to come down to answering questions and who is the favorite. The end didn't match the concept of the show. If it was going to come down to a Q&A then allow the couples to spend more time talking instead of physical challenges. The writers and creators of the show missed the whole concept of the Love Boat. Terrible ending to a show it seemed as if it were fixed. Not going to bother looking at it on Paramount just not worth it.
I really love this show. It's a clean show it doesn't have too much drama and it's different from the other shows usually the other shoes are cat fights with the women. These women keep they're cool and also the men. I don't understand why they took it off cbs and now I hear they are putting it on a streaming channel which I don't have and I won't purchase. I hope I can watch it on a regular channel because I do want to continue on watching it. I really enjoyed how in the show they do the challenges. It really makes sense to see if the couples really are meant to be together. And how all the couples express to each other.
Dear CBS, you put a show on network television, then when you think we are all hooked on your show, you take it off the air and put in on your pay for view network. Do you really think I/we are going to sign up for Paramount Plus and pay 5 bucks a month, just to watch this garbage? Also to be forever locked into some sort of contract or endless spam for eternity? The show is terrible and so are you CBS for thinking anybody would pay to follow this horrible show. The hosts of this show are horrible as well. All five of them! You'd be better off just remaking the old show with the premise it was originally based on.
