This short film was shot to test lavalier microphone channel separation for use on the filmmakers feature film
The Big Picture (2010). Hence why one of the characters voices was intentionally distorted to demonstrate individual audio channel separation. The filmmakers thought the short was really funny and released it to the Internet for the general public to watch.
