This movie is perfect. To sum it up- "SEX and QUINOA". It has Everything a good low budget comedy should have: great set of characters and storyline-makings of a cult classic. The demographics this movie should appeal to will be young health enthusiasts, and their numbers are growing rapidly. And this movie was on the cutting edge of this cultural revolution.
The Novice acting and the absurdity of the lines really made me laugh, and the ending was SPOT ON.
As far as I know it's also the only FICTION movie (full length or short) with the word "quinoa" even mentioned in the script, let alone the TITLE and plot line.
But I want to see more chicks in Jon Quinoa 2...and 3 and 4 and...keeping with the same film style and storytelling feel. I can't believe It took 3 years since this movie was made until I found it on youtube, as enthusiastic as I am about the quinoa. This movie will definitely gain a solid fan base in the coming years once people know it exists.
