Infamously, the duo gave two thumbs up to Speed 2 : Cap sur le danger (1997) despite most critics declaring it one of the worst sequels ever. Gene and Roger's positive written reviews, along with Andrew Collins, are the sole reasons the film doesn't have a 0% critic's score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Goofs
In his review of Speed 2 : Cap sur le danger (1997), Roger Ebert says that its star, Jason Patric, also appears in Amour et mort à Long Island (1997). Ebert was thinking of Jason Priestley.
