I love disney but this was an awful film with awful acting (thank goodness they've gotten better since). it was cheesy in a bad way. i honestly don't know why i watched it all the way to the end
'Frenemies' was the first movie of this summer holidays and I loved it very much. There were three stories in it and I like them all. The first story was about a boy and his dog. The dog was so cute. The second story about two thick friends who does everything together, they have never separated, but one it will be tested when they seek the job at a fashion magazine. And the third and final was about two girls who alike. the movie ends with a wonderful song.It was different movie than I thought.one of the best Disney channel movie.
Okay, I won't lie; this movie made me chuckle a few times. But at the end of the day it was stupid, trashy nonsense and I'm not just saying that because it's a film aimed at kids. You can watch much better movies with your children. I'd even recommend "High School Musical" over this garbage.
Some of the messages it sends out are bizarre. Best friends are great and all but are you really going to let friendship get in the way of a huge career opportunity? And why did the first mindless tween let his dog get in the way of a relationship? Granted, it wasn't a very healthy relationship, but who knows how many more times he's going to put his dog before actual people? And as for act three... well, I don't even have to go into that. It was a total rip-off of "The Parent Trap." This film is a cliché storm and compared to this, "Camp Rock" looks like "The Godfather." By all means, skip it.

This Disney movie is actually a trilogy with three acts but the same plot. The first Act is about a popular, pretty girl who tricked a science geek, Nick to do all the work for their Science Project which they are supposed to be working together on. But It's not really about Stephanie, it's about Nick and his bestfriend, a dog. But of course, since it's a Disney movie, the act is supposed to end happily. The second act is about two best friends, Zendeya and Bella doing everything they can to win the editor job from each other, now, I can say this part is cliché because of it's ending. They remain best friends and nothing can tear them apart. The third act is a modernized version of the prince and the pauper. When Emma and Savannah, both played by the same person, first met each other they decided to switch because their life is so 'different' from each others so at the end, everyone find out and it turns out they are both comfortable with their own lives, which I'm not surprised with.
So all in all, I think it's not a bad film, It's mostly cliché best friend stuffs but can be pretty entertaining.

Well Disney Channel you just made a very cliché movie with characters that are stereotypes instead of being unlikable, most of the jokes in this movie are not funny, this movie tries too hard to make you laugh but in the end it fails miserably, at least the soundtrack is alright but this is one of the worst Disney movies from 2012 along with Secret Of The Wings, if you want to watch a better movie from 2012 go watch Brave, Wreck It Ralph and Frankenweenie they are better movies than this unfunny movie, not only is the worst movie ever made by Disney Channel along with Teen Beach, Kim Possible (2019) and The Thirteenth Year but also very boring if you ask me.

- GoofsAs Savannah skateboards down the sidewalk toward Jake and Murray (the dog), she loses control and flips over a bush out of sight. Her skateboard remains behind on the middle of the sidewalk about midway on a driveway where the two intersect. The next shot is a point of view from Jake looking up the sidewalk, but no skateboard can be seen anywhere near the driveway and sidewalk intersection. The following scene shows Savannah returning to the sidewalk, but now the skateboard is on the sidewalk near the right edge of the driveway rather than at the original midway point.
