The first thing to hit me was the sheer quality of this production. Straight away your senses are treated to beautiful photography and effects, rich, clear and crisp sound.

All cast give an outstanding performance - but props have to go to David Edward-Robertson playing Pierson. Each calm, cold and precise delivery sending cold shivers through me - a truly believable character!

Script and story kept me on edge all the way through and when mixed with a score that slotted perfectly in place you have no choice but to be drawn further into the story.

The whole production screams 'Big Screen' and Genesis Flux Productions have created a quality of film that even many cinema releases struggle to achieve.

Hats off to Chris Cronin and Genesis Flux Productions! I look forward to seeing more from them in the future.

Two men are about to find out in this short, gripping thriller about three men in a room discussing a life or death problem.

Pierson gives the two men mere minutes to decide their fates as they are put to a test nobody would ever expect.

This film is very well acted with highly effective camera work that highlights the fear of two trapped men who are faced with the possibility of the loss of their own lives.

It stays with you well after it's done and it's not something you're likely to forget.

ABSOLUTELY worth seeing. Highly recommended!

This had me drawn to the screen from the word go. Chris Cronin is getting better and better each time he directs a film. With great acting and well written by a very talented writer in Paul Thomas, Genesis Flux productions are one to watch for in the future. They are very talented, professional and a cool, laid back team to work with. I loved Steve McTigue in this film and i think it was cast very well. David Edward-Robertson fitted the profile and had the looks of a hit-man down to a tee. It was also fantastic to see a local lad, Greg Kelly, showcased in this production and in my opinion he did the role justice. Thanks to the Producers, Actors, Director and everyone else involved for making this movie,l i enjoyed it very much (and a big thank you for the private showing). Look out for Genesis Fluxs' Hail Of Bullets promotional short which will be the catalyst for what will be an amazing, action packed, British made feature film called Shoot Out.

The storyline is excellent, really well performed, and beautifully shot. It has the feel of a well funded film, a prequel for a feature.

The story is clever in that early on, you think you have sussed out the plot, until that "plot" you think you have uncovered is revealed, and the story takes another turn. Intelligent writing and film making like this holds an audiences attention and keeps them guessing right to the tense bitter end, which this film did.

I don't want to give anything away, except by saying that this film, the quality of the way it has been shot and the performances, leaves you thinking, and even wanting, it to be a promo for a feauture, which it could easily be.

If you like tense gritty drama, I just advise you watch it, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Gripping from start to finish. Ante is a well made short feast which features a very strong cast who are caught up in a very tricky situation. I could not believe how well made this film is. Director Chris Cronin makes great use the camera throughout to build the tension between the characters with atmospheric photography. The sound design on this movie really makes the heart race...especially the vibrations from the mobile phone on the table. Movies of this quality are usually made in Hollywood, usually cost millions to make and yet I believe that this movie was made for under £1000 in the UK which really blows my mind. Looking forward to seeing what other films are coming soon from Genesis Flux.
