Over the past nine years Grady Sullivan (Gary C. Warren, The Best Laid Schemes) has become one of the most popular authors in contemporary fiction. However, his past few novels havenÂ’t been selling as well as he would have hoped. After his latest novel completely flops and his fiancee breaks his heart, Grady exiles himself back to his childhood home in a Midwest suburb. It is there that he spends his days in a drunken stupor as he attempts to fight his writerÂ’s block. During his stay, Grady begins to meet several locals that begin to help him turn his life around.
