As this show is winding down (thank God) because it is getting painful to watch. Grow the hell up (Kate) seriously !!! It's always been about her selfish self-centered ways. I like Toby, I like the two of them together. I thought it was pretty damn selfish of her to call her boss! Good God this show DEFINITELY needs to end and NO no spin-off shows. Let it die peacefully.
I never seem to understand Kate. She has always been selfish and self-centered in a way that all she cares about is herself! Also she is demanding of others to pay attention to her and understand her, while she never does so. She lacks the power of will to lose weight and always blames everyone else on her mistakes and her weaknesses. I never understand this character, she does absolutely nothing to be a better person, coward is all she is.
I'm really, really fed up with Katy's attitude to life. She blames everyone for her unhappiness. Blimey if she had the start in life that most have she would have something to maybe grumble about. I was one of many to have had polio as a 3 yr old, my dad had pts and a nervous breakdown, mum had to get a man's job for a decent wage to bring up her 4 kids, I got sent away at 7 to an open air school run by stern nuns, not seeing my parents or siblings properly for 4 yrs... you either weaken or get strong...I got strong. Worked hard from 16 to 62 yrs of age. I married a fantastic man but unfortunately we didn't have children of our own...did this make me bitter and sad or blame what life gave me...no...I love my life..my experiences only made me deal with life's crisis and be flexible enough for change. I do not believe these three siblings could have such "trauma" in their lives. At least they were almost adult when their dad died, not young children. The writers should really let them grow up ! ...esp Katy...what the hell has she got to be so bitter about other than her weight. I loved Toby. She def did not deserve him. Punishing him for getting a good job, losing weight, being fit to prevent his children losing a parent. Working hard to provide, finding a house etc etc. She has always put her wishes and brother above Toby. He deserves a wife that will love him as much as he loves her.
I'm sick to death of Kate and her moaning all the time Toby is too good for her she's so exhausting never happy always miserable. Boring boring boring.
Its really wierd how Kate cant even see that she found a man who has the EXACT same character as her father that she adore, but still she acts like a victim all the time..
The writers of this show really failed with writing up Kate's character... She is so weak and pathetic...
She could have been REALLY great but i guess the writers didnt want this show to be great.. they are fine with "A really good show..."
