History's Greatest of All-Time with Peyton Manning

Another review quibbled about the choice of experts and the overall programming on History Channel, and i can agree with both of those points, particularly the overall programming on History Channel. Having said that, History Channel isn't the only cable network that has strayed from their original concept. Just off the top of my head, i can name several networks that bear.no resemblance to their original concept, AMC originally aired only classic movies, TLC, at one time aired programs that at least attempted to educate, and Bravo was dedicated to fine arts.

I feel this show does deliver some information and at least a little educational value in an entertaining way. Peyton Manning is pleasant, self-deprecating, and likeable. The program presents the countdowns in a fun way and the concept of the show promotes conversation and, possibly a little thought.

I enjoy the show, it's one of the few shows that I make a point of watching every week.

And where did yall find these so-called "experts", huh? A writer, a consultant and a car show co-host ARE NOT "experts" on anything sports related. Were these the only tools to respond or did they lose a bet and have to be on the show? The History Channel is horrible and no longer is worth watching. They are making shows about lists and less about HISTORY! Why do channels act like MTV and change their programming? Didn't yall notice how nobody watches MTV, VH1 or BET anymore? History is about FACTS, not feelings. Peyton is the ONLY reason I gave this 2 stars otherwise it would have been a ZERO!
