It's an exciting day for fans of the Prime Video post-apocalyptic series Fallout. Season 2 of the show, based on the beloved video game franchise that counts its fanbase in the millions, has just wrapped filming.
Ella Purnell, who plays Lucy MacLean, shared a picture of herself with her onscreen dad Kyle MacLachlan, who plays Hank MacLean. At the end of season one, Lucy realized her father had betrayed her, and Hank fled towards New Vegas while Lucy teamed up with the Ghoul (Walton Goggins). This set photo indicates that the two characters cross paths again in Season 2 - as fans probably expected given how important both characters are to the plot.
Aaron Moten, who played Maximus, also shared a photo. His showed his character in the iconic Power Armor Maximus wore for most of the previous season. "That's a wrap on @falloutonprime season 2," he wrote. Fans went wild in the comments of the post.

Crowe will play Manco Kapak, a club owner whose retirement plans are disrupted by a dramatic robbery. The film reunites him with director Derrick Borte, with whom he previously worked on the movie “Unhinged.”
The production is expected to generate approximately $7.4 million for the local economy and create jobs for 95 people. Both the City of Gold Coast and the Australian government have supported the project through their location offset program.
“The Gold Coast’s incredible natural environment will shine in ‘Bear Country’ when it conveniently doubles as Los Angeles,” said Arts Minister John-Paul Langbroek, highlighting the region’s appeal for filmmaking.
Screen Queensland CEO Jacqui Feeney emphasized the project’s broader impact.

Friends ran for a complete decade, bringing new stories every year from 1994 to 2004. And while some shows lose their spark when stretched so long, Friends remained as charming as ever. After its end, the main actors went their separate ways, but things didn’t work out too well for Matthew Perry, who was facing a bit of bad luck in the industry.

Ever since 2007, The Big Bang Theory made its debut on the small screen, and it has been hailed as one of the best sitcoms ever by TV series enthusiasts. While Jim Parsons’ Sheldon Cooper is the most prominent character from the show, Simon Helberg’s Howard Wolowitz added to the sitcom’s charm and wit. With quirky attire and unwavering confidence, Wolowitz was essential to the show’s success.
After 12 seasons of the show and countless laughs later, it is impossible to imagine someone else in the role. However, he had initially turned down the role, as he was done playing a nerd.

One of the very few theatrical releases in the very early days of the pandemic, Derrick Borte’s Unhinged managed to make $44 million at the box office at a time when audiences weren’t exactly eager to get back into theaters, the film offering an action-packed, explosively violent bit of exploitation with Russell Crowe as the title character, a road rage-fueled madman.

Matthew Perry's breakout role as Chandler Bing on Friends is part of the reason why the show was so successful. Perry's career beyond Friends showcased his versatility as an actor, with roles in other comedies like Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip as well as dramatic performances in The Ron Clark Story and The West Wing. Perry's portrayal of complex characters, such as Mike Kresteva on The Good Wife and Joe Quincy on The West Wing, demonstrated his acting skills and ability to take on challenging roles.
The late Matthew Perry charmed the world as Chandler Bing for ten seasons, but the actor also shined in multiple roles outside of Friends in film and television. Although Perry began his acting career as a child, it was his breakout role on Friends, widely considered one of the best TV shows of all time, that catapulted him to worldwide fame.

It would come as no surprise to learn that “Back on the Strip” started out as a “Magic Mike” parody. I’m not saying that it did. But what else could explain the bizarrely literal premise of an ensemble indie comedy in which our hero is a wannabe magician who heads to Vegas hoping to be the next David Copperfield, only to wind up shaking his wand for a Chippendales-style male dance revue instead?
What makes “Strip” so consistently funny for most of its too-long two-hour running time isn’t Merlin’s lame prestidigi-dream (that part feels like co-writers Chris Spencer and Eric Daniel have been watching too many Nickelodeon movies) but the sorry state of his fellow dancers: a has-been crew called the Chocolate Chips. That fairly original hook allowed the filmmakers to round up an A-list lineup for this C-grade endeavor. The movie features everyone from Tiffany Haddish...

Daniel Fienberg: It’s hard to tell the story of Spring TV in 2023 without discussing HBO’s Succession and Barry, as well as Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso. Those three shows, two definitely finished and one seemingly coming to an end, represented four of the last six Emmy wins for outstanding drama and comedy series, as well as many nominations for acting, writing and directing. With their shocking deaths, wild deviations in tone and, in the case of Ted Lasso, expanded episode running times, they’ve dominated social media and water cooler conversations since March.
That’s why we’re not going to focus on them here. There’s more to TV than Barry, Succession and Ted Lasso — or at least HBO and Apple hope there is after the upcoming awards season concludes.
Even not counting the holy trinity of the spring, there were buzzy returning shows — Fxx’s Dave!
