In many interviews, Shruti Marathe (who plays Gayathri in the film) revealed that she had worn a bikini for this film and all of this went under the radar at that time. A few years after this film was released, she made her Marathi film industry debut through a daily TV soap which became famous and she became famous as well among the Marathi audience. She further mentioned that right after the serial was broadcasted, many people started searching about her on the Internet out of curiosity and the first few photos to show up were of her in that bikini which led her to being trolled and bodyshamed a lot. Later, as time passed, that trolling turned into appreciation after her performance in that TV show was praised.
