"I entered the dark tunnel and I saw you."
I finished this drama right now and I just wanted to talk about it. Weirdly, nobody has seen this great kdrama. I don't know why I started watching something with less than 100 ratings on IMDB, but I'm glad I did. This drama has such great storyline with impressive acting and an unforgettable soundtrack. But the real winner is characters and character development. I can't say much without spoiling but as a fan of revenge stories, I think this one is really unique. Because of the way that it portrays characters, motives, judgement and life in general. Because it shows how sometimes a crooked line can be perceived right and straight. It has a solid screenplay with a bunch of great dialogue and many great scenes. After 6 or 7 episodes I got worried because the writer showed us all his cards and I thought: How can he keep this story interesting? We already know everything.
Well, I was wrong. because even though the story is indeed interesting, it's not about events and twists and cases. It's about people. About characters.
And it's worth mentioning that this drama is fast paced and thrilling.
And the final word: Ending. It's not happy. It's not sad. It's not unexpected or shocking. It's just right. It's how the story should end.
P.S: There used to be a time when kdramas showed knives without censoring. Oh good old days.
I hoped it had a better title to refer to the evil deeds. I thought it would be interesting because Shin Min Ah has psychic powers. But the acting of the cop was really was not that good. The lawyer guy was stoic the entire time so I don't really feel like it helped. The plot just revolved on one case and the deaths of other friends. It might have been ok only if I did not know who is the real villain by episode 2 of the series.
Terrific storyline. Well there was one part near the end where i was thinking, why is he doing that, if he wants that to be done? I also thought that in the final sequence, the two leads looked like two drunks more than what they were supposed to be.
The acting was fine. Nobody really stood out. Although it was only in the final episode or two, that i saw that the actor playing the title roll could act.
So i would say that acting =6, and story=8.
When divided by two, that equals 7.
