Locked In The Closet

As a True Crime watcher, I sometimes worry that I've desensitized myself somewhat. But then this episode came along. It haunts me, the evil and this poor man whose torture still manifests in him not only emotionally, but physically. He is mentally destroyed and emaciated to this day, decades later. The abuse he and his brother suffered by his drugged out mother's lesbian lover is something I cannot get over. Starved, beaten, locked away in a dark closet and not allowed to go to school. This poor man's face is forever burned into my memory. As a mother myself, I wanted to reach thru the screen and hug and feed this grown man and heal him. It is haunting that I can't...that nobody can. I hope beyond hope that he can someday find peace and relax in the arms of God.

Omg...as a survivor and PTSD myself, I just want to hug him. This ripped at me so badly. I had these experiences as an adult. I just want to hug him. I was married to a psychopath who destroyed me and some of my kids in the process. I am afraid of closets, hunger, darkness, small spaces, cold, heat...a lot of things. I hope this family finds peace and love. This was so heartbreaking to watch and to hear. Jesse is a brave soul for telling this story. Thank you to the people who brought these narcissistic psychopaths to justice. There is a special place in hell for people who are inhumane and cruel intentionally.

An amazing survivor story that is so unbelievably horrifying to realize what this young man and his brother were put through is true and the fact that these kids took it upon themselves to find a way out I found quite simply amazing and I hope that his "parents" are NEVER granted the freedom that they stole from their children. Truly heartbreaking.

The sentence was 30 years! These two evil woman should have been given the death sentence. This young man's childhood was a horror and his brother as well, almost more as Tyler suffered physical abuse. Thank God for his siblings who came to his rescue. This whole family was so sick and I blame the mother for allowing an angry partner to take control and psychologically abuse these children. Two psychopaths in charge of children . My heart just aches for the young man who has significant PTSD, and struggled to tell his story. He is a true survivor.

One of the best episodes of this show, but so disturbing.

I'm watching this right now. And I'm getting angrier and angrier that someonr would do this to children. In the pictures, it was obvious that these children were already being starved,

These two monsters should have been, as my mother would say, put under the jail, much I'm the jail or better yet, sentenced to death. I hope the mothers in there make their lives miserable and they never leave.

This young man is so brave to tell his story. Absolutely heartbreaking.
