    Jack Farley thinks you're awesome

Mordecai and Rigby try to get some respect by being the best at a new arcade game leading to the first appearance of GBF

    I Want Respect

Moredcai and Rigby want respect, so the best way the find to do that is by getting really good at an arcade game.

This episode was unpredictable, and fairly fun to watch. And, for those unaware, a biting critique of real life Pacman/Donkey Kong champion Billy Mitchell. If you look him up you'll understand this episode a bit better. One of the best Season 2 episodes yet.

    Aged beautifully

This episode and especially the depiction of Garrett Bobby Ferguson aged very beautifully - probably the most out of ANYTHING really - that I honestly thought this episode was a couple years newer than when it was actually released. I mean, 2011, really?! That's much older than I thought it was! And, oh yes, this really was ahead of our times back then. Glad to see this episode have a bit of a resurgence here and there.

    • Trivia
This episode generated a lawsuit against Cartoon Network by Billy Mitchell due to GBF bearing a small resemblance and demeanor to Mitchell himself. The lawsuit was ineffective as a Judge ruled in favor of CN stating that "The television character does not match the plaintiff in appearance"
    • Quotes

Rigby: You can't do that, that's cheating!

GBF: Universe rules, baby. There are no rules.

      [Crowd boo]

GBF: Oh, boo yourselves! I'm Garrett Bobby Ferguson.
