Choose

Choose is an important film to be seen and discussed at the round table. Robbie Bryan along with his cast and crew of talented individuals made an incredibly heartfelt film. It was an honor for me to be at the premiere event. I was ecstatic with the outpour of love and support for this remarkable and thought provoking film. The story and its characters deal with hard choices when faced with life and death decisions. Leaves the audience wondering what they would do in such a situation. This film is a roller coaster ride and makes you realize how precious life really is. Choose pulled me in and took me on a journey of the mind, heart and soul. The cast gave outstanding performances. Robbie Bryan wrote, directed and produced a beautiful film. It's a must see.

I had the privilege of seeing "Choose" at a special screening here in town, a few weeks back, and I am still in awe by it. "Choose" is great because not only is it well made, and well acted but because the story itself is so powerful. The film forces us to take a long hard look at ourselves and ask what we would we do if we where in the same position as the main characters.

As I said before, the films ensemble cast really makes the film worthwhile. Both Deborah Twiss and Carter Roy pull off great performances that instantly make us (the audience) deeply care about the characters, and feel for them as we tag along on their emotional journey. It was also great seeing Brook Lewis in a bit more serious role. I'm a fan of her horror films such as "iMurders" and "Slime City Massacre", and seeing her in a film such as this made me appreciate her even more as an actress.

Director, Robbie Bryan has again done a great job. I was a huge fan of "iMurders" and what he was able to do with that film, and going into "Choose" I knew he was going to do a good job with this one. However, I wasn't expecting to be blown away with his craftsmanship for story telling like he did in this film. Bryan puts on a "cinematic" clinic with a story that weaves in and out of sadness and joy that leaves us emotionally drained by the films conclusion. I didn't know to much about him going into this film but I am eager to see what he does next as a filmmaker.

In conclusion, "Choose" is a must see film. Even though it is a "short" it still has the feeling of a much bigger film. It's a film that will stay with you long after you see it, and will make you appreciate what you have, because it shows how fast it can all be gone.
