After the death of her mother, Sarah Goodall struggles to make sense of her life, her purpose and her faith. Once an honor student, Sarah begins failing her classes, jeopardizing her scholarship and her future. When American transfer student, Mike arrives on the scene he takes a vested interest in Sarah, bringing back some color to her monochrome world and helping her to find what she's counted as lost.

A solid Aussie Indie film

Charge Over You is the story of a young woman struggling to find meaning in her life after a chain of devastating personal events.

For a film with such a modest budget, Charge Over You blows most of today's mainstream cinematic rubbish out the window. It's a solid, well told story that is paired up with Hollywood grade cinematography and a strong supporting cast, namely the talented newcomer, James Lee. The plot twists and turns making it original and unpredictable, which is a breath of fresh air.

This is Director, Richard Steenekamp's second feature length film, and there is little doubt in the years to come he will be a household name.

I'm giving Charge Over You an 8/10.
