Under developed but had lots of potential

This could have been much more interesting, but in the end there is just not enough ideas for a full movie. The swap was cleverly done, giving each perspective on life a fresh understanding. It's the walk a mile in someone else's shoes idea done surprisingly well. I would guess the main actress was really pregnant during filming (else great prosthetics) which added to the realism. The downside is the crass moments were one sided and forced, and at 1 hour and 22 minutes, including unnecessary montages, there is just not enough movie here.

Ridiculously hilarious body swap comedy, with a twist

This movie feels like it's going to be an instant cult classic. A unique twist on the body swap movie Concept. I think it's a brilliant mix of edgy humor and well developed storyline. It's relatively simple at its core; there are only four actors in the film. But the dynamic chemistry between them especially the two leads; makes this film feel epic in scope.

It takes you on a few twists and turns and flips the body swap genre Kinda on its head. The filmmakers have fun with the concept and it's not at all predictable or cliché. The film even finds Itself surprisingly heartwarming without losing its edge.

The brilliance of this film is that it takes what you know about body swap films and almost uses that against you in a brilliant way it's very clever and I felt like the movie was two steps ahead of me.

The editing and pacing are perfect it looks and sounds great the score is well done and also hilarious. (no spoilers) very well cast, directed And edited.

    I highly recommend it.

You have to watch it all

I just started watching the film. Then it was a body swap. I thought no way not another body swap film. They're so lame. I'm not watching this. What else can I watch? Then I said ok I'll just lie here and watch for a bit. Now what can I say about this film. Firstly it's not a kids body swap film. I think that's a first for these types of films right? So that's slightly different. I mean it's got penice and vagine mentioned. And they talk about having sex and do. So that's not your average body swap film. Anyway it goes on for a while. I'm not sure there was enough jokes for a whole movie but it sort of works in the end. And they have a little bit extra at the end where the swaps happen again which was interesting, and a little time spent with the child talk. So it's a fairly complete exploration of the concept and it works. But you have to watch it all. Don't turn it off and give it a 1/10 because it's a little better than that. I feel it's a solid 6/10 from me. If you like the genre you'll get even more enjoyment out of it.

    silly, crispy...

Just like dried mushroom, a ''shifting trades'' kinda prematernity at 8th month of this couples pregnancy. There are moments of true giggle, but many moments of mediocre humour. The shapeshifting seems like a bit of a flaw at moments, cause he was the perfect french giggolo. So just a 5 from the grumpy old man.

Not At All What I Expected, But Everything I Wanted and More

Listen. I'm not one to enjoy romance, or comedies. It's probably in my personal life, I've lacked these elements for the most part.

I'm generally the type of guy you would find on a Wednesday evening enjoying the inextricable combination of French onion dip with Lay's Wavy Chips combined with the latest season of Attack of Titan.

But then one day, I stumbled across this random gem of a film:

    Swap Me, Baby.

The titles was evocative, and I couldn't quite make sense of the cover art, as it perplexed me, and caused me to want to explore it deeper.

Thus, I dropped the rental funds necessary to investigate, and I was not disappointed.

    No, far from it.

As alluded to before, I'm a big fan of anime, especially those of the science fiction type. Swap Me, Baby might be a romantic comedy at its core, but it has some great science fiction elements that sunk its hooks into me from the get-go.

Not only that - but the charismatic leads do so much to elevate the relatively well-known promise of body swapping, and turn it on its head. In fact, I'd say it does a full summersault in superseding expectations, all the while gripping the viewer (me) with interest as I laughed my butt off at the smart script and ridiculously delicious narrative.

It's not every day that I give a film an 11/10, but here we are.
