It's good and I'm excited for the continuation of the series and can't wait to get into the plot. But a huge downside is the animation. The graphics are waayyy off of the original art style and it's too 3D. And as much as it doesn't seem like lazy work, the quality of the art isn't the best compared to how it was in the earlier series. Just in general the animation is too 3D and off brand of the original. And the animation reminds me of video games. It just isn't the best animation I'd say.
However, the plot will be amazing and I'm excited to watch the new generation, the children of our favorite sins, in this with the chaos to come. And I really hope we see Arthur.

I'm a huge fan of TSDS series and it's not just story that got me addicted to this series but also damn cool fighting animations...I don't get it why did animators go for such poor choise for CGI. It doesn't make any sence because it was proven many times that this kind of thing is what ruins shows.
I hope that Netflix sees this and goes back to the original style animation because it's not working for me and certainly won't for many many MANY others. It's painful to the eyes to watch it like that and it does not give that satisfaction that it's supposed to. Whoever in his right mind allowed this to air really needs to get fired.

I started the series last week and binge watched it all, including the movies. Whoever decided to change the animation style for Grudge of Eidenburgh should be keel hauled and gang beaten with a sock soap. It's TERRIBLE. It's so bad that it's hard to watch. I don't know if this style is cheaper then the old style but they need to banish this animation style and leave it locked away.
Besides that, I am pleased that they are continuing the story with the 7 deadly children. I am looking forward to seeing more in the future as lomgmas they discontinue this awful animation. I am still currently watching it though. I just felt so strongly about the animation change that I had to get on here.

The story line of the over all series is amazing but for me the animation was off did not give me the same feeling as when I watched 7 deadly sins the OG as the animation look like I was made for vedio game and not a TV series I gave off a lip reading Vib as you can see that when they talk the words don't match the lips as as of the characters was made out of plastic or clay actually a big let down and for that reason I think I would not continue to watch it going forward as the original animation was for me much beter and gave of an anime Vib and not a vedio game Vib just my opinion anime shows should always have the original animation feel not the cartoon 2 year old show feel with there animations for education.
The animation, although wonderfully done, was a horribly bad choice for this series. This type of animation is more appealing towards a younger, kid oriented audience. TSDS was created for an older, more mature audience- specifically one's who were already in love with the original animation style. This was a very poor choice when the series, itself, was already popular enough to begin with- no need to "fix" what wasn't broken.
Story wise, I enjoyed it - especially seeing most of the original characters again. The story was engaging and kept me fairly interested. I feel I would have been more invested had I been able to get past the cringy animation.
