    Wow

    A view of the "cités" that isn't from CiteBeur! I've never lived in a cité (council flat area) but I've visited them. And what I've found out is that the level of man on man action there is the same as elsewhere in France. However, the level of discretion and denial is off the scale.

    This short encapsulates this perfectly. An ostracised, faggy lad in a secret affair with a supposedly straight footballer. Thank goodness they had rap lyrics both to unite them and inspire them to break out.

    This was eight minutes of accuracy, tragedy and hope. So many gay-themed films end up sadly. I'm glad this little gem didn't.
