Loved this. An homage to the great Italian giallo movies of the 70s , Beyond Fury is a low budget gore fest with some of the most shockingly impressive gore effects I've ever seen. It's definitely not for the faint of heart. Some impressive acting by the leads and gorgeous lighting and sound make this a film I would thoroughly recommend.
You've got to put up with a lot. The only thing I enjoyed about this movie was the gore. It had this grind house movie appeal to it. The use of color correction trying out complementing colors worked in some scenes yet didn't in others. The big issue with this movie I had though was the mob boss 3/4 of the time I couldn't understand a word he said in his indistinguishable accent. Yes the actor is Italian and has a fan base but most of the time it sounds like Marlon Brando put one too many tissues in his mouth trying to sound like Don. Corleone.
There is an amazing amount of green screening as well to the point I do wonder where the alleged budget of this movie went. It wasn't to good actors as most are probably just staff who worked on this movie it seems like. The super tall guy reminded me of an obscure Dolph Lundgren movie called "Dark Angel" from 1990 the actor who he reminds me of is a skinny version of Matthias Hues. Just Matthais has more stage presence and muscles.
The plot is pretty awful for this and can be explained in like two sentences maximum. Did a bunch of friends watched a Rambo or John Wick movie and said we can do that! The accents i could barely understand anyone in it and I speak fluent English. The last time I had to stretch my ears this much was the movie Best Laid Plans from 2012.
Watch this for the gore and nothing else. Usually you have to go out of your way to make movies this bad but other times it's natural. I can't decide!

Yes it's got a lot of gore and violence. It's also got some of the most abysmal acting I've ever witnessed.
Awkward character presence, stilted monologues, and wooden acting abound do nothing to lift this past an amateurish offering.

Badly acted, cheap, stupid and unpleasant. Very gory if that is all you need.
I can't think of a single positive thing to say.
Take the glowing reviews with a pinch of salt.

BEYOND FURY (2019) is the third instalment of Darren Ward's FURY trilogy (following 1997's SUDDEN FURY and 2010's A DAY OF VIOLENCE), dark indie thrillers made under the Giallo Films banner. Like Lucio Fulci's THE SMUGGLER before them, these utilise plotlines from gangster and crime movies to deliver ulta-violence on a massive scale, and indeed BEYOND FURY is one of the grisliest, gore-drenched movies I've seen in a very long time. The Godfather of Gore himself would be proud!
Our thuggish hero goes on the rampage when his pregnant wife is murdered by thugs - that's the entire plot, and what transpires is a series of wince-inducing set-pieces in which body parts are trashed and smashed across the screen. Our lunkheaded hero wins no awards for acting (compared to equivalent meatheads like Craig Fairbrass, he's positively log-like), but scream queen Dani Thompson has a small role alongside THE BILL's Jeff Stewart. Best of all is Italian cult favourite John Morghen (aka Giovanni Lombardo Radice) as the villain of the hour, a psychotic mob boss with a fine-line in foot-smashing! What's most amazing about this film is that the direction is exemplary, the photography varied, interesting and looking good throughout. Sure, there's a slow half hour in the middle, but it's not enough to spoil the gory glory of this blood-soaked gem.
