No One Gets Hurt started as a practice film of sorts for director Scott Staven. Though the endeavor was to make something good, there were no expectations, so the decision was to do the film on a modest budget. That meant writing the story based on locations and props available - along with available equipment, and for Scott to take on all roles through pre to post production. The result kept the budget under $200. The film turned out well, and has become the starting piece of the directors portfolio.
