Exclusive: Actor-turned filmmaker Clark Duke (Arkansas) has wrapped production on Stranglehold, a new comedic thriller in the vein of the Coen Brothers’s oeuvre for Yale Productions. Cast for the pic includes Ashley Benson (Wilderness), Emmy nominee Jake Lacy (Apples Never Fall), Justin Long (Barbarian) and Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman (The Instigators).

Written by Chandler Duke, Billington Garrett and Clark Duke, the film is billed as a Southern-fried siege, with shades of Dog Day Afternoon and Die Hard, which centers on Bailey (Benson), an exotic dancer with big dreams. She and her Army vet husband Tim (Lacy) are fed up with their lives of barely getting by in small-town Arkansas, so they decide to rob the strip club that employs her.

AMC Networks’ The Walking Dead spinoff Fear the Walking Dead will air the series’ final episodes in November 2023. The zombie apocalypse action-horror series will wrap up its eight-season run with a two-part finale on November 18th.

AMC and AMC+’s November lineup also includes Planet Earth III presented by Sir David Attenborough, new films every Friday, a Nicolas Cage-A-Thon, and the kick-off of winter holiday programming.

It’s a new month, and Hulu subscribers are getting a slew of new movies and TV shows to enjoy.

June 1 is jam-packed with more than 30 titles that have landed on the streamer, including the seventh and final season of Ava DuVernay’s “Queen Sugar,” the Jack Nicholson-led film “Hoffa,” Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Borat” and the entire “Twilight” franchise.

Mixing in a little of the old with new come goodies from 2023, like “Flamin’ Hot,” which tells the story of Mexican migrant Richard Montanez who came up with the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos while working as a janitor at Frito Lay. The film lands on Hulu June 9.

Ending June with a bang will the be second season of “The Bear,” (June 22), Season 20 of “The Bachelorette” (June 27) and the sixth and final season of “Grown-ish.”

Former Saturday Night Live cast member Alex Moffat will make his Broadway debut in the upcoming comedy The Cottage, directed by Jason Alexander. Also joining the previously announced Eric McCormack, Laura Bell Bundy, and Lilli Cooper in the cast will be Nehal Joshi and Dana Steingold.

Sandy Rustin’s The Cottage, Alexander’s Broadway directorial debut, will play a limited run at The Hayes Theater from July 7 to October 29, with an opening night of July 24.

On the surface, the newly released "Christmas with the Campbells" may look like your average holiday romantic comedy, the likes of which you'd see on the Hallmark channel. But that's exactly what producers Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley wanted you to think. Though the film retains the cheesy romance and holiday heart of those made-for-tv movies, it's also packed with hilariously raunchy one-liners and the kind of dialogue that you'll be absolutely shocked to hear in a holiday movie like this.

Last month, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story star Justin Long got fans buzzing when he revealed that Vince Vaughn had an idea for a sequel to the 2004 comedy that was just waiting for Ben Stiller’s stamp of approval after he was uncertain about doing a follow-up.

I'm not sure if most people are hate-watching them for a good laugh or if the holidays just have them seeking out the warmth of hammy holiday happiness and love. No matter what the reason, these movies are typically not for me. But thankfully, producers Vince Vaughn and Peter Billingsley have figured out a way to make these Hallmark holiday movies a little more appealing.

After longtime cast members Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, and Kyle Mooney parted ways with the sketch comedy series earlier this year, “SNL” has now confirmed that Alex Moffat, Melissa Villaseñor, and Aristotle Athari will not be returning for the upcoming season.

Moffat, who frequently plays Eric Trump on the series, joined the cast for Season 42 as a featured player from 2016 through 2018. He was brought on as a full-time cast member in 2018. He has since starred in “Holidate” and “Clifford the Big Red Dog,” with upcoming films “Susie Searches,” “Christmas with the Campbells,” “Jodie,” and series “Bad Monkey” in the works.

Villaseñor also became part of the “SNL” cast in Season 42, similarly starting as a featured player and along with Moffat, becoming a full time repertory player in 2018. Villaseñor started as a contestant on “America’s Got Talent” before booking “SNL.
