You won't want to miss this

"The Truth" is one of the new movies that I think it's really worth recommending to people around me. It grabs my attention from the beginning until the end that makes me want to continue to see how the movie ends. The journey of journalism somehow reminds me of my dream when I was a kid and this is inspiring enough. It somehow reflects the ethics and kindness of a journalist and the decision-making is really crucial, which makes you question yourself what will you do if you are in the same place. While a few scenes could have been tightened for a smoother pace, this film is an exhilarating cinematic experience that is not to be missed.

    Inspiring Movie!

"The Truth" was definitely a film that was both inspiring and motivating at the same time. The way the storyline was crafted to show the power of upholding your ethics and staying truthful was commendable as I believe it gives a reminder to all to harness and believe in your own potential. It definitely influences many people who may lack in self-belief and it was a great movie to watch to reflect on our current self. Also, for anyone who might be interested in the area of journalism, they should watch this movie as it well-displays and reflects about one's integrity in this area of work. Overall, I would recommend to others to watch this film!

    Inspiring !

Another masterpiece by Vincent Zhou. I think China industry are quite brilliant to have these kind of storyline which is happening in reality world. As a journalist that stand strong with her own thought without getting influenced by any situation, the ethics that she need to keep in order to get the truth to be shared to the community are really inspiring and exciting I would say. I guess ultimately the main thing to convey throughout the movie is as long as you do what you think it's right, it will eventually comes with positive impacts. Overall I think it's really quite influencing and I wouldn't mind to watch it over and over again to inspire people to do the right thing even though there are a lot of challenges might appear along the way. Love it !

Brings a fresh perspective to journalism

I have always been interested in how people in journalism do their job and how much they are probably hated for doing their job. This movies brings exactly the perspective one needs to understand how if not for what they are covering (and uncovering), no one would have batted an eye. While the news team was covering a celebrity pair, simply translating what they are doing to investigative journalism makes you think the good that every journalist out there could be doing if they invested their time and effort in doing things for the right reason.

Of course with my bias of how I do not know why the celebrities being covered are that important, I didn't care too much about who's who but overall, it was nice to see the entire process and the movie ending off with a relatively interesting cliffhanger.
