Jay and Amy move to Hollywood together in hopes of starting their acting careers, but only Amy finds quick success. With students loans and bills to pay, Jay decides to start a fan site about Amy without her knowledge. The site balloons into a major online presence, feeding her celebrity, but consuming more of JayÂ’s time and preventing him from acting. Jay cannot walk away from the site's success, but Amy discovers it and dumps him. Her career tanks after a poor movie and drunken TV appearance, while JayÂ’s site also plummets in popularity with her shrinking star. But the fan site that destroyed their relationship is also the means to piece it back together and put them both on HollywoodÂ’s radar.
