    Delicious Dysfunctional Descent

This documentary takes you on a rollercoaster. One by one the mental illness, denial, guilt and abuse reveal themselves in almost every family member. Riveting.

    For all the Calls....

We need more mental health care, for rich or poor. Not jails.

We all deserve, to live and be happy.

Also, remember he was gone 20 years. They will push away family and burn bridges.

One cent tax, on all marajuana and alcohol sales go to help, those who are lost.

Super moving and inspiring film. Well done!

I loved it. I was so impressed and enthralled with how the story unfolded. I was on the edge of my seat all the way through. The story exceeded my initial expectations. I originally thought the film would concentrate on the brother's story of recovery. But it ended up being much more than that. The filmmakers take you on a journey from childhood to adulthood. They explain the dramatic family history that is the catalyst for the rest of the story. Then we realize it's actually not about the brother at all, but about Rebecca who is the glue that holds the entire story together.

The dynamic within the family is completely captivating. They are probably my favorite scenes of the movie. The way this thread develops over the course of the film was incredibly surprising, thought provoking, shocking, and at times incredibly emotional to watch. It's very rare to see a family speak so intimately about sensitive matters and this is a wonderful, voyeuristic fly on the wall experience. It is definitely something you will not forget.

    A must see!

    Very well done

This is a very moving documentary that has such depth and is so well edited. Powerful - sometimes hard to watch but that is what makes it so great. The film covers so many facets of life - not just mental illness or homelessness but also many social cultural issues involving families and growing up in America. The woman gave so much to her brother that her own family seemed to suffer as she was trying to reconnect to her roots. I think that her children and husband had a difficulty as time went on. It is a film that anyone who has suffered from depression needs to see. Bravo braves souls who made and edited this touching film.

    Cutting Onions

This is a wonderfully written and produced documentary. I wasn't sure what to expect but the story kept taking twist and turns that I wasn't expecting. It is heartwarming, yet tragic, in so many ways.
