Solid start with a slightly immature-ish ending

I have been waiting for the series and couldn't wait to start watching. Overall I enjoyed the first episode. Great start and good introduction scenes. Science explanation scenes are wonderfully done. The writing felt a little forced towards the end. Interaction scenes with the Britishers were painfully comical and unnecessary. Takes you away from what the show wants you to feel. Still a promising start and solid performance by Jim Sarbh. Can't wait to finish the series.
