    Don't waste your time.

I was excited about this movie when I first heard of it, mostly because it takes place in Seattle which is where I was born and raised. However, if I could go back in time and not watch this movie, I would. The cinematography is incredibly repetitive. It's actually almost comically repetitive. The drone shots are massively overused. It's clearly a low budget film, although that's not the problem. I'm sure if literally any other director was given the same budget, they could've made a movie a thousand times better. Rose Kreider (the director) thinks she left the audience with a clever cliffhanger, but it comes off like she just doesn't know how to finish a story. The movie is almost tolerable within the first 5-10 minutes and then it just becomes increasingly boring and repetitive. I wish I could give this movie 0 stars instead of 1.

For Those Who Wonder if "The Woman" is Worth Watching

Rose Kreider's first film, "The Woman" was probably the most anticipated movie of the year 2022. But is it any good? The movie is based in and around Seattle during Winter, so prepare to see a bunch of warm coats! It features 4 characters and 2 main characters who bring the story to life and a handful of different and versatile locations. Noah is an art student tying to find his way in life and it's intriguing to watch his life journey. It definitely brings you out of your element. He knows nothing about his life as a child and finds answers during the heightened eclipse in the i middle that grasps your attention (and heart) and I felt the ending was clever enough and leaves to interpretation of the viewer how they wish for it to end and end his journey, so to speak. A MUST SEE Seattle film on TUBI TV!

    Well done

A thoughtful coming of age story of not knowing where we come from and how we proceed with it. The pace of the film was just right not too slow not too fast. Even only for a film for just an hour long I felt it was just right.

Film left off letting viewers think for themselves how it may end. The cast did a swell job. Just 4 main characters mostly carried by the lead actor Aleksey Weyman. The drone shots I really did like. The shots at the university were probably my most favorite ones I would say. I say to viewers to give this a chance. Beautifully shot in parts of Washington state. My personal opinion.

    I love the woman

I love the way this movie was shot. The camera quality and locations were amazing. The actors and actress where good and, believeable. The cliffhanger was great. They can definitely make a part 2 of "The Women" if they wanted too. I was really impressed to find out that this was Rose's first movie she's ever created. I had the privilege of interviewing her on my podcast "The Peoples Choice Podcast" episode 71 as we discuss what motivated her to create "The Woman" also, finding out that she created the whole movie on $1000 budget that was super impressive because, of how great it came out. Not knowing that you could have easily thought this was a big budget film. Sky is the limit for Rose Kreider I'm so excited to see what the future holds for her in the film making industry she's definitely going places and fast!

Great start out of the gate!

First off, I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Rose for her first film and strong start out of the gate! I salute you for your first production, which, having done many short films, is by no means a smooth effort with its share of ups, downs, in betweens.... it can be both fun and have its miserable moments too. And I give props to the cast and crew as well. Having a good collective here is invaluable and helps on the journey! And it shows here with bringing this powerful and poignant story to the screen. Well planned and thought out. Loved the imagery of the locations (some close to where I grew up).
