My Dear Bootham

A young boy, who suffers from stammering, unknowingly releases a powerful genie called Karkimuki. The genie helps the boy overcome his difficulties and the two develop a strong bond.

Karnamukhi (Prabhudeva) heads the evil kingdom. One day his son Kinginiya disturbs a sage who will be in deep meditation. Sage who gets frustrated by this act thinks to curse Kinginiya. But Karnamukhi asks the sage to curse him instead. The sage curses Karnamukhi and turns him into a statue. He tells Karnamukhi that even if someone releases him from the curse, that person needs to mouth a certain Sanskrit sloka in 48 days for Karnamukhi to return to his world. Else Karnamukhi will die. On the other side, we get to see a schoolboy Srinivasa Rangan (Ashwanth Kumar) who faces problems with his fellow mates due to his stammering issue. One day the school takes him to an exhibition where he accidentally releases Karnamukhi from the curse. The rest of the story is about how Karnamukhi changed the kid's life. Did Karnamukhi return to his world? How did Karnamukhi change Srini's life? These questions will be answered only on the big screen.

Boy's acting was great,my son started crying at the climax. No spoilers, please stammering is not a physical condition, but a mental condition, basically fear. Do not get cheated if somebody tells, stammering can be cured by surgery. How to people treat a kid with these difficulties. Songs are good. Comedy is also good. Kids will enjoy this. I started with no confidence on the movie, but it turned out really really very good. Computer graphics could be done better. No role for Remya Nambisan. Prabhu deva' s expressions were good. This movie can be watched once. It can be watched with the family. Over all good family movie.

Watchable for kids for sure. Such movies are required rather than other false entertainments in you tube and other sources. This gives a positive impact for sure for the kids to watch and be entertained.

Good Fantasy Drama for Kids. Style of the film close to the real life that should connect with all the kids. Ashwanth rocked on his acting both in comedy as well as in emotional scenes. Liked to see the New dimension of Prabhu Deva Sir, where he shined well as Boodham by doing fun and exhibiting emotions. Other artists did their job well. D. Imman Music gave support to the film. 'Master Oh my Master' good dance number.

1st Half - Slow paced with good laughable comedy tracks.

2nd Half - Emotional, Motivational, Message full Cinematography, Sound Effects and Editing are fine. VFX worked out well at some places and disappointed at some places. Film should come even better, if they have written even more interesting scenes and comedy tracks. Claps for entire team.

Good Family Entertainer. Surely, Kids must enjoy the film by watching it in theaters.

The movie is meant for kids but it is so childish and the social message conveyed in the movie also in very wrong way.

The big letdown and missed opportunity. Prabu Deva cast as Bootham is fantastic and he fit to the role very well. Other than him everyone is mis cast and too cliche in acting.

All the negatives are touched in non interesting manner and the solution they proposed also not at all working. The teacher, mother and friends characters are all so artificial and their realisation sequence are so pathetic.

Just dont waste your time and your kid time.
