I was surprised by how much I really liked this film. I'm kind of fussy about romantic comedy, as so much of it seems to follow the exact same plot. This little urban romance was different from the start. It had a lot of little twists and turns which held my attention right to the end. The set-up was great and followed with frustration, annoyance, and disappointment as the plot drew toward the conclusion. And the ending was never a foregone conclusion. I was on the edge of my seat hoping for a happy ending right up to the end. I watched it with my daughter and best friend and we all loved it. If you like romantic comedy, you must watch Anatomy of Love. Can't wait to see more work by Way-Young.
I usually don't go for the Romantic / ooh I love you type movies. But I must say, this movie by far exceeded all my expectations. Not only did I watch the movie multiple times, I purchased it to add to my collection. And my friends will tell you, if I buy it I must really like it. there were not the regular slow spots that are in most movies today. It was well thought out and put together VERY well. I would recommend this movie to just about anyone and everyone. If you like to laugh and get real value from your movies, then seriously consider this one. This is one of those movies that if you do not pay attention to it, you will miss out on a great one. Make sure you check this out, you will NOT be sorry.
This movie made me laugh, cry and laugh even more. This is the perfect date night movie and if you're feeling a little risqué maybe family movie as well. I felt like there was finally a movie with a message yet entertaining. It seems like there are no good romantic comedies anymore. We definitely need more movies like this; I so hope that there is a part two. Considering that the lead guy was very easy on the eye along with his crew. They were very goofy but supportive of their boy. "The Anatomy of Love" is a classic. If you haven't seen this movie yet then you are missing out on something worth seeing. You will fall in love with the cast within the first few seconds of the movie. Again I hope that there is a part two in the making because it is needed. Hurry and go get this movie;-)
We all have questions about what love really means. "Anatomy of Love" was very well written and did a great job entertaining these questions. The movie exuded fun through a very vibrant and talented cast of actors. The creative direction for the movie caused you to think back on signs of love that one may have over looked in the past. It's a lesson in love we all can relate to. The college setting helps keep your attention from beginning to end. While others can relate to experiencing a broken heart rather by a love interest or a family member. This movie helps define love genuinely and with integrity. Cheers to Way-Younge LLC, for producing a movie that we can watch time and time again.
The Anatomy of Love is a PG-13 movie that addresses the potential and common issues of love that derive from divorce. Often children grow up with a definition of love that is derived from their home environment, and therefore their parents. The Anatomy of Love opens the dialogue between parents and children (teens) on the true meaning of love. Jenesis apprehension to love, Cassious decision to lay his heart on the line, and both their peers and parents reactions to love provokes audiences, young and mature, to reflect on the value and quality of their relationships. It causes each person to evaluate the message they are sending to their significant others, spouses, children and friends on love. This is a must see movie for anyone, who has ever been, will be, or currently is in love. A terrific date night movie!
