Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Freshman Year

Probably the best fan film I ever watched the movie is very unique and funny. The film is also very strange. And overall it is just a really good and funny movie. It exceeds fans expectations and does more. Also the YouTube channel has very good things on it so I recommend watching their stuff. The movie is very satirical. Even though it was only 27 minutes I could not ask for anything better. Also the references! The references to the book are so good and funny! A lot of the things in the film make no sense, but it is on purpose! Now time for recommendations! If you liked the film you will like not-so amazing by RC films and the Fruit Jar's upcoming film one more night at Freddy's.

It's a fan film. Don't expect much. The plot is plain weird.

It's not a high quality film, and it certainly has room for improvement, but it's still clever and hilarious. The main stumbling point is the acting. Some characters did well at points, but overall sloppy. This is excusable though, I didn't watch it with high expectations. Clever references to the book series though. Worth watching, but don't even think about taking it seriously.

Its a fanmade film made by teenagers, you can't expect the world from it, but it still manages to be a fun watch with good humour. If there's anything I can compare it to, it reminds me of a scott the woz episode.

This was surprisingly well done. It had just the right amount of firmness in reality to work by itself. The knowledge of the source material was very well-versed and distributed throughout the story with entertaining, accurate depiction. It would have even better as a film to have included the well loved father of Greg. It was a nice touch adding the mother but, it would have created several hilarious scenes, if the father included. The Rodrick character was beautifully played out and had a literature accurate personality, actions, and appearances. I also must say, though some of the young actors did appear to be new to the screen, they gave such wonderfully played out performances. The animation was also very well done. It appeared to even have the potential to be included in big cinematic pictures. It really gives me hope for the newer acting generation.

Overall, the short film was created with much love and dedication that really shows in the work of art that they created. The amount of effort that was needed to create Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Freshmen Year was substantial, and the fact that these highschoolers pulled through and ended up creating a very entertaining film is astonishing. I hope that this short film can encourage other up-and-coming members of Hollywood to get themselves out there and achieve their goals.

This was hilarious and fresh, i was so excited when it came out. Obviously because its a fan film it isnt perfect but it was pretty close it does have some really weird things to throw u off but if u dont mind its great.
