Trivia
Shot in regular DV format under particular lighting conditions and then "contoured" as a visual effect during post production. The end result is a black screen with the outlined edges of the components onscreen represented in yellow, red, green, white or blue i.e. contour. This visual effect formed the basis of the movie - even as far as the title of the film. The idea being that when someone dreams, they visualize only basic shapes with feature only the fundamental recognizable elements of the subjects.

Crazy credits
All cast and crew credits that bookend the movie are spoken, rather than written. This is in line with dream states: you cannot read text (or at least it is very difficult to) whilst dreaming.
