Entertaining for what it is!

If you approach this amateur movie with taking into account that bates has never made a feature before with no experience in film making then you will be rewarded. If your expectations are higher you will think it would feel amateurish. But this was a rather enjoyable film. Some acting is better than others but it's the story itself and atmosphere that really grabs you and takes you into Marvin's dark and lonesome world. The film is very bleak but somewhat enjoyable because you never know whats coming next. Great editing and not a scene wasted. Sadly not many people will ever have seen this movie but those that have will agree that a remake on a much bigger budget would be crying out as this script is strong.
