With this aspect, it starts like a story similar to the first svu seasons. However, later on, we hit the new svu drama and dark grays.
A great drama unfolds from this difficult case. Untold dramas turn into storm and tragedy.
Good to see Elvis Baktashi (Michael Dempsey) again. I admire Svu's inclusion of civil society representatives in the story. I miss Father Curtis (Lesli Odom jr) and Bayard Ellis (Andre Braugher) on this one.

- GoofsWhen Rollins and Velasco go to the suspect's real home, the address on the title card is 1028 Whittier Street, but when Velasco calls for an ambulance for the suspect, he incorrectly gives the address as 1208 Whittier Street (which is the actual address of the house used on the show, not the one used for the show)

Counselor Stephen Cryer: Okay, what are you offering?
ADA Dominick 'Sonny' Carisi, Jr.: Kidnapping's an A-1 felony. That's 25 to life. And the criminal sexual acts, you're looking 50 to life. Now my guess is that your client would like a nice, flat number. Twenty years.
Counselor Stephen Cryer: Can meet you halfway. How's 10?
Theodore Murtaugh: Ten years without a computer?
Counselor Stephen Cryer: Let me talk to my client.
ADA Dominick 'Sonny' Carisi, Jr.: I'm still at 20. Yes or no?
Counselor Stephen Cryer: Give me a few minutes.
Theodore Murtaugh: Look, you chose this job. Don't be mad because you actually have to do it.
ADA Dominick 'Sonny' Carisi, Jr.: Well, now you're at 25. Keep talking.
