Pushpa: The Rule - Part 2

Tone, Script & Story: The story continues from part one and this time Pushpa has a chance to earn in thousands of crores of rupees. This time if he wins he even has a chance to even buy the government.

I found the second part more comforting than the maiden one. The reason is getting use to the name. It may be normal in south but for me it changed the whole concept of movie for something else. I did not expect an action thriller from a macho as portrayed. This was different in part two for I had accepted what it is.

The makeup as shown in posters is the best eye candy movie has for it along with song bring best scene in movie. It along with instances involving his wife bring ones emotions when they are projected.

Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography: The containers, the trucks, the jungle, the police station, the celebration, the action scenes, the river, etc all have been captured well. Justified efforts in direction to make it an entertainer. Music: Below average. Acting: Justified.

Final Verdict: If you are a fan of action thriller under the image of a heroic personality you will love it. For me it's just a onetime encounter.

Now straight out the theater this movie is no doubt a massy movies and it does all those things a typical south Indian movie does but, the plot of part one is something that made me excited for this movie in the first place. Now as the movie is massy so when I decided to watch it I already decided not to use my brain a lot and yup it actually worked this is a movie that is meant to watch in a theater with huge music system busting your ears with background music as the protagonist makes an entry and everyone in the theater are shouting and cheering ngl this does works I actually enjoyed that thing.

Action was obviously physics defying, hero being able to do literally anything but those were actually unique the action sequences in this movie and really fun to watch if you just ignore every type of logic which you actually have to specially when you are watching a massy movie. Acting done by Allu Arjun is just phenomenal he really put everything he had and properly became the character.

The plot while it was fine, but it does shifts the focus totally from the Pushpa vs Shekhawat and just introduce a totally new villian and the movie end before you even realise it because the just finish the movie and you feel that its just not complete yet which it isn't it they could have made it better.

Overall it worth watching in the theaters.

While costume & hair style looks over gaudy for Allu Arjun come places dialogues are voice irritating.

First scene failed to understand what's it, A Arjun dance no impact compared to P 1 , Time pass movie at average level simply dragging Action fight scene ok but little overdone

Acting outstanding by Allu & the villain Fasil.

On the contrary the film doesn't make justice to part 1.

Its mass entertainer one time watch , Sukumar could have Done little research on story telling though the direction & screenplay it keeps you engaged till the end But not as usual sequels are to be worked throughly.

The highly anticipated Pushpa 2, the second installment in the Pushpa franchise, delivers a mass-market spectacle but falls short in certain areas.

1. Content: While the movie is crafted for mass appeal, the storyline could have been more refined and engaging.

2. Action Design: The fight sequences and chases resemble a video game, which might work for some but feels over-stylized.

3. High-Voltage Moments: There are predictable, high-energy sequences that generate excitement but lack depth in terms of narrative integration.

4. Plot Development: The movie consists of several whistle-worthy moments, but these individual blocks lack cohesion and fail to develop into a compelling plot.

5. Entertainment Value: Pushpa 2 is positioned as a "paisa vasool" mass entertainer but falters with two weaker songs.

6. Performances: Rashmika Mandanna delivers a solid performance.

7. Character Intensity: Fahadh Faasil's character lacks the seriousness or intensity seen in the first part, making his role less impactful than anticipated.

8. Villain Arc: The absence of a strong antagonist makes the hero's victories feel one-sided, with the actual conflict seemingly reserved for Pushpa 3.

9. Dialogues: The one-liners and punchlines are effective and add to the entertainment quotient.

10. Characterization of Pushpa: Allu Arjun's characterization remains strong but doesn't offer anything new. The decision to save key scenes for Pushpa 3 dilutes the impact of this sequel, leaving room for fillers instead of substantive content.

11. Overall Appeal: While the film is a mass-market hit and delivers on entertainment, it might leave discerning audiences, including those paying premium prices for tickets under government-supported initiatives in India, wanting more in terms of content quality and storytelling.

In conclusion, Pushpa 2 is a high-energy, crowd-pleasing entertainer but lacks the narrative strength and depth that could have made it truly exceptional.

The storyline is not good. There are many scenes that are included with no specific reason like the starting when Pushpa is in Japan and fights people there and the scene goes on for like 10 minutes, only for him to wake up (it was just a dream...). It also shows Pushpa is scared of water there because of a past experience. But that scene too has no relevance to any other part of the story whatsoever.

The only thing good about this movie was the action scenes which has impressive camera angles and dramatic effects although the fights were overexaggerated (gets a pass 'cause South Indian film)
