I wished that the story this done but see even tho the first season is kinda cringe what can you asked of a young kid with a series that she made by herself I luv watching this again and again becuz it is soo original (even though is was inspired by mean girls) it not rlly like anything, rn I have been on my early 2000's movie obsession and not a lot of movies are rlly good so watching this feels a hole in my heart until I finish it with a overnighter I recommend this to anyone getting into the LPS community because this is honestly better than most shows to this day even with a higher production cost and anything like seriously no other LPS show has this much drama and is this good and is this love.

My girlfriend showed me this show; it was something she grew up on. We both thought it would be something I wouldn't be very into. I'm currently halfway through the show but I've been floored by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail from the creator. Even if I were to wave away the slack I give this show for the fact that it was a low budget YouTube series made by a child, it's still genuinely an entertaining kids drama that has interesting and nuanced themes about social class, body dysmorphia, bullying, and most importantly - empathy. I almost want this to be adapted with a higher budget, but with full honesty, watching two fingers bobble the heads of the talking characters is part of the experience, and I really love the show for what it is. If, by the time I finish the show, my opinion changes, I will update this review.
