    Beautifully made film

For me this Indie film was beautifully made. A powerful story and stand out performances from Feisal Bizimana and Rob Trend. The story is of an unlikely friendship between a young lad(Lucas) who is undertaking community service and an elderly man(Mr Miller). Lucas finds himself within a unsavoury circle of friends which endangers his growing relationship with Mr Miller. This film shows the challenges of dementia and the impact on family members. It was emotional at times and brought a tear to my eyes. A high quality Indie film beautifully directed. Highly recommended film and well worth a watch. A credit to Indie films.

    Heartfelt

Poignant, realistic, beautifully played and paced.

    Well directed and photographed feature.

Apart from the excellent lead Feisal Bizimana All round good performances hard to single out anyone but a special mention giving a particularly chilling portrayal Jack Cook as Myles. The filmmaker gives us time to get to know Lucas (Bizimana) and this really works to create empathy with his plight and so when faced with what plays out during the story we are that much more alongside to witness the choices his character finds himself having to make. To my mind its a piece for this time but could just as easily have been Ncholas Ray's 'Rebel Without a Cause' in that it places the audience firmly in the complicated entangled web of emotions that Lucas experiences whether with his single parent or the so called friends he runs with.

    Topical

A good film that covers an unlikely relationship. And also many social issues. Manages to show the tenderness of relationships between different people, but also the rough side and hard times. Well worth watching.the writers and director have captured the sensitivity of Alzheimer's and the issues facing the person and those close. And how a young life can be unexpectedly changed for the better. Has moments that make you sad, and moments that make you smile. It's a film I think all ages will enjoy watching. It's a good warts and all film. Doesn't throw roses at the issues raised. Highly recommend.

    Remember us

The movie started off surprisingly well-enough to trick me into thinking I was in for something solid. The setup was interesting, the tone felt right, and for a brief moment, I thought, "Wow, they might actually pull this off." Silly me.

Then came the ending, and oh boy, what a masterpiece of confusion. It was like the writers suddenly remembered they had a deadline and just threw darts at a plot board. Nothing made sense. The bad guys? They strolled away like they were on vacation. No lessons learned, no consequences-just vibes and a shrug. Very inspiring.

Watching this movie was like waving at a car that doesn't slow down, doesn't wave back, and probably wasn't even supposed to be in the scene. Just "zoom," and you're left wondering what you just watched and why you cared.

And let's not forget the emotional moments. All the warm, fuzzy feelings are jammed into a single day like someone was rushing to finish a school project the night before. Then, magically, the main character remembers it all the next day like he downloaded the memories via Wi-Fi. Totally believable. Very emotional. Definitely not lazy storytelling.

In conclusion: great start, terrible finish, and a whole lot of "Wait, that's it?" I came for a story and left with a headache.

    enjoyable indie film

I guess im just biased being that i grew up when indie films were being created all the time, well at least in comparison to what we see being produced these days.. The acting was on par with really just about any big box film & the Lead managed to captivate me regardless of what otherwise could have been a slog. Genuine chemistry was present from all the main characters & other than somewhat rocky sound engineering, i felt little difference from any content you might find streaming on netflix or the like.. i really hope to see what this studio may offer next & wish all the best for these young actors. Very enjoyable indie.
