Takeaways with Kirk Cameron

I find your show entertaining as well as enlightening. Your stories about your wife and how she's the nicest person made me smile. I call my bf my better half. He knows God is number one and he's the second love in my life. And I hope to one day be worthy to be called his wife. Till then I work on myself listen to your program and have communication with God. Thank you for making wholesome tv. Keith and I enjoy watching you on all of your projects. We just ordered two t shirts and are excited to see you sometime in 2023. May the love of God shine upon you and your family have a blessed weekend.

Kirk does a fabulous job interviewing others on current issues. At the end of the program, he reviews main points to ponder. This is not the standard talk show jabber and rhetoric. It is a meaningful and pruposeful program that presents both sides of an issue and give main points to ponder. Not a waste of time like watching "The View" where the hosts just degrade, deamean and make so many ridiculously absurd statements and neve have a logical discussion. Takeaways is logical, thought-provoking, and leaves it to me to decide what I think is best. Shout out to the producers, writers who have helped Kirk with this program. Definitely worth the time to watch each week!!

I am new to this program in late 2023 and now 2024. I have found so many interesting guests, most of whom I do not know, and I've learned a great deal. I've bought books authored by some of the guests, or began following them on social media. The episode I saw today focused on disability of a child and Joni who is in her 70's. It was so encouraging that in spite of challenges, both families have done amazing things for others. One mom with the differently abled child has written a book to help other parents. And the other woman runs a global organization to get wheelchairs to needy all over the world. Both see that they do have a purpose and the follow it full force.
