a fruit basket

A lovely surprise this cocktail - film. B Sci Fi from 1950, musical in Old Hollywood style, Cold War and Sputnik, a not so lucky magician from East but covering his identity with an eccentric lie, some Tim Burton and some fake tension, some Dune and beautiful map of New Zeeland.

So, a chain of cultural references, Enough ? I do not know but delightful can work as fair definition. In short, a seductive short film, mixing all what can be mixed and sustained by inspired score offered by New Zeeland Symphony Orchestra.

So, a large basket with fruits, from Sci Fi, comedy and politic to horror and romance. All just fair and deeply nice.
