Turf War

I loved the original Turf War with Ahmad Hassan. Besides watching two neighbors compete for best newly renovated yard ( and envying the great updates done to their back yard!) the viewer gets to see Ahmed Hassan facilitate the show as well as give it a healthy dose of humor and fun. I have learned multiple ideas which I have incorporated into my own outdoor design plan. Unfortunately Ahmed is not in the newer shows and his absence leaves a hole that has not been replaced by a new host, Jay Baker. Jay appears to be a good contractor but the zany humor and silly bad boy Ahmed lightens the show and to me, provided the high entertainment factor. Since the heyday of this show, many of the original contractors have moved on to their own very successful shows. While this makes for great TV I really miss the original cast of Turf War and how much it used to make my week.
