Netflix dropped the eight episodes of their latest spin-off from their Selling franchise, Selling The City, on January 3, and it's time to discuss if Selling The City season 2 is happening. Season 1 attracted reality show fans and luxurious buyers alike, showing some incredible houses, cast drama, and explosive fights. The unscripted reality series, produced by the same team behind Selling The Oc and Selling Sunset, featured Eleonora Srugo's team at Douglas Elliman in New York. Selling The City season 1 was captivating. The series had ginormous skyscraper houses that cost lots of money.
However, there was also name-dropping of a couple of realtors' famous exes and explosive shootout matches. The first installment of the series introduced the boss lady herself, Eleonora, whose first appearance was in a helicopter, and her group of realtors - mostly female agents selling some of the most deluxe houses in New York. Abigail Godfrey appeared throughout the recently released Selling the City.
Producer Adam Divello brings his particular brand of conflict-laden reality shows to the Big Apple! In Selling the City (a sister series to Selling Sunset and Selling the Oc), the fast-paced, high-end real estate business of New York City is given an inside look. Just don’t expect the series' stars to get along.
For example, Abigail Godfrey was embroiled in a season-long feud with co-star and fellow agent Jade Chan over the alleged practice of poaching properties from other realtors.

Consider Selling Sunset and all its drama off the market! Following the popular real estate reality series' most recent eighth season in September 2024, a new season is already on the way. According to series star Amanza Smith, Netflix has renewed the reality series for season 9.
"And we're back," Smith wrote on Instagram. "Who's ready for Season 9?" The star captioned a video of her walking in a black leather dress with gloves and boots, what appears to be a white piano handbag, and a slicked back long ponytail while on set. Season 9 appears to be in production!
As previously mentioned, Selling Sunset season 8 premiered earlier this fall on Sept. 6 with 11 brand-new episodes that definitely brought the drama fans have come to crave. Between Alanna's claims that she owns Pioneertown and the rumors spread about Emma, it was quite the season.

Netflix's real estate reality shows like Selling Sunset and Selling the Oc offer a glamorous peek into the world of luxury properties and high-stakes deals. But are these shows really about real estate, or are they just scripted dramas, with designer wardrobes, and messy office relationships? There is an entire genre on Netflix dedicated to these real estate reality shows. But every fan wonders how much these agents might be earning by wearing designer dresses or shoes every day, driving luxury cars, or traveling wherever and whenever they want to. The real question that arises is whether all this money is coming from real estate or do these agents have side hustles to meet their needs. These Netflix shows glamorize their lives, showcase their fights, and get into their personal lives, without even focusing a lot on the actual properties they are selling and what makes them better than others.

Selling Sunset season 8 is officially out on Netflix, and its time to catch up on Bre Tiesis life after the hectic season released on the streamer. Selling Sunset Season 8 premiered on Netflix with high drama and even higher stakes.
Still, one of the newest casting additions ruffled many feathers despite only appearing in a handful of scenes.
Amanda Lynn first appeared midseason when she contacted Bre Tiesi to tell her she had some information about one of her castmates that she should probably hear in person.
When the pair met up, Bre was blindsided by Amanda’s claim that her friend, who works in the W hotel, witnessed Jeff Lazkani getting up close and personal with a mystery woman on more than one occasion.
Of course, Bre worked with Chelsea Lazkani and wasted no time taking the news to her while the cameras were up.
Initially, the pair bonded over the moment.

Exclusive: Buying London, the UK’s answer to Selling Sunset, has failed to land the keys to a second season with Netflix.

Much like its successful American sibling, Buying London followed a high-end estate agent in the capital run by property tycoon Daniel Daggers.

Exclusive: Netflix has opted not to renew Buying Beverly Hills for a third season. The news comes months after the show’s second season premiered in March.
The unscripted series, which premiered in 2022, centered around Mauricio Umansky and his staff at The Agency, which included his daughters Farrah Brittany and Alexia Umansky.
Sources say the cancellation had to do with the viewing numbers versus the cost of production.
Although Buying Beverly Hills will not move forward, Netflix has similar shows on deck like Selling Sunset, Selling the Oc, and Owning Manhattan.
Season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills leaned into the real-life drama between Umansky and his marriage to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. Umansky openly discussed his marital troubles on camera, and the Netflix series also featured several appearances of Richards.
Another issue discussed during the second season was the rift between Umansky and his brother-in-law,...

When Selling Sunset first premiered on Netflix in 2019, nobody could have predicted what a phenomenon it would become. The reality show, which is now seven seasons in, centers on the lives of agents at the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles. Not only has it proved to be a massive success, but it’s also created a whole new subgenre for Netflix: luxury real estate reality shows. In addition to Selling Sunset, there’s spin-offs Selling the O.C. and Selling Tampa, as well as shows of a similar flavor like Million Dollar Beach House and Buying Beverly Hills.

“The Roast of Tom Brady” debuted with a bang on the Netflix Top 10.
Despite not premiering until the evening of May 5, when it aired live on Netflix, it was the streamer’s sixth-most-watched English-language TV title of the April 29-May 5 viewing window.
