This is the best faith based movie that I have ever seen! It is up there with FACING THE GIANTS and FIREPROOF! The acting, cinematography and music are no less than superb! This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat! You want to listen closely to follow the plot of this story! The message within the movie concerning faith and forgiveness,is one of the best that I have ever seen. It is a magnificent movie for people who love to watch mysteries. The spiritual message in this movie is second to none! God is exalted all the way through, from the beginning to the end. Any person searching for truth and forgiveness, needs to view this movie. It is truly a movie of originality and uniqueness! I highly recommend it to every believer.
The Derby City Film Festival was ecstatic to have "In Mysterious Ways" as the closing film of the 2010 DCFF! Vin is a superb director and carefully balanced the deep subject matter with care while never making the audience feel they were being beaten over the head with a particular message. The performances were top notch and the music selections excellent. The audience of almost 400 (the largest of the festival) gave the film and filmmaker a standing ovation after the screening and I am sure if we were able to screen the film a 2nd time at the festival the same outcome would have occurred. Kudos to Vin and all those involved in making this excellent indie film!

This is an amazing movie! We took our youth group to go see it. I would recommend this movie to others. It keeps you guessing and my son, who is twelve, had several thought provoking questions. Because he is twelve years old, he didn't understand until later in the movie why things were happening. This movie is a good example of how our actions can affect others and we should think before we do things. I enjoyed the end of the movie and how he came to know his new love. I also have to say that the piano melodies were beautiful!! The actors were realistic and I thought it was funny how the guy in the movie liked to go to yard sales.
I found this movie to be very telling. It absolutely showed how the things that happen in our lives are a direct result of our own actions. We get caught up in ourselves and what we want and make foolish mistakes that affect the ones we love the most. We took some of the youth group from our church to use this movie as a teaching tool. The story line was so touching. It took me a while to realize just what he had done. But a very current topic for today. As for some of the other things, the setting was good, the music was so beautiful and I thought the acting was very well done. I gave this movie an eight because I would recommend it to others.

The message in the movie, In Mysterious Ways, is clear and thought provoking in that actions have reactions that not only affect one life but ripple out into the circle of lives around any of us, usually beginning with those that matter the most. Throughout the movie, the answer is always there, waiting to be discovered and accepted. The reality of the emotions of happiness, love, hurt, pain, suffering, remorse, and peace found in forgiveness were real enough to bring tears to my eyes, smiles and laughter, and an "Ah" at the end. I have recommended this movie to many of my friends locally, in Mississippi, and in Honduras already and will continue to do so.
