a pure depiction of today's youth

Watching Naima's routine was an eye-opener as we witnessed how hectic her life was. The film carried an important message and was crowned by natural acting

    DELICIOUS

-The screenplay was real, it gave us a thorough picture of how crowded Naima's life was: her messy bedroom, the loud morning alarm, her buzzing phone, not to mention her demanding mom, etc 😓

We were like "Girl, how can you survive like that??"

-The acting was so natural that we effortlessly penetrated into Naima's world. Though she was overwhelmed, we also got to see her funky and laid-back side.

The customers coming to Naima's workplace were so funny, like the guy who looked at Naima and said "See person wey be sweet like sugar cane, my darling dumpling"🤣

Naima's mom was the classic African mother dealing with many problems in a foreign land.

All of these characters made the story believable

-It was quite poignant that the film addressed the effect of extreme busyness on our mental and physical health. Sometimes as we get so carried away with our saturated routines, we don't realize how it injures our well-being.

And Naima's case was a great wake-up call that we need to take a break and reassess

-The editing, direction, and cinematography all worked in unison to make the storytelling exciting and understandable

    BLAND

---Why Me would have made a bigger impact if it had included symbols or more profound dialogues in order to highlight the importance of taking care of our health.
